All artworks on exhibitions and/or for sales at this online gallery (i.e., this website) are intellectual properties (IP) of ES (i.e., Eric S. Shi, the author of all of the above-mentioned artworks).
According to the Copyright Act (CA) of Singapore and the Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPS), an international treaty that governs intellectual property rights globally, the scope of the copyright protection includes rights to reproduce, adapt, publish, and perform the protected artworks.
The secondary master copies of the artworks (i.e., those listed in the “AI-Art Catalogues of APML, HPML, and HSML of the ES&AG AI Art Studio”) are sold with nonexclusive user-rights automatically licensed to the buyer(s). These nonexclusive rights include the rights for reprinting, reproducing, redistributing, adapting, publishing, and use in performance of the respective artwork(s). The above-stated nonexclusive rights are automatically granted to the buyer(s) by virtue of completion of the purchase. Concerned buyer(s) can print out a copy of this article and safekeep it with the invoice of payment as evidence of proof.
Such nonexclusive rights (i.e., the copyright licensing arrangements from the ES&AG AI Art Studio, on behalf of ES, to the respective artwork buyer(s)) are neither transferable nor resalable. In other words, these nonexclusive user-rights (and the corresponding commercial gains) are only for the buyer(s) of the above-stated secondary master copies to enjoy; not for the buyer(s) to resell or relicense to anyone else.
All souvenirs (i.e., digital images prefixed with API, HPI, and HSI) sold from the Shop of this online gallery are only for buyer(s) to own and use at a personal level (i.e., not for commercial gains derived from for reprinting, reproducing, redistributing, adapting, publishing, and etc.). There is no copyright license attached to the souvenirs.
This article is version numbered. In the event of any revision, the version number shall go up. The copyright related aspect of all commercial transactions of this online gallery shall be governed by the most current version of this article at the time of transaction(s). The revised version shall be added in the Blog section of this online gallery, instead of replacing the obsoleted version, to enable the retroactive referencing.
